My bride and myself...what you can't see is my hair is actually longer than Ms. T's.
We're at Gruene Hall, with "Asleep at the Wheel" playing - a great western swing band.
Gruene hall is the oldest dance hall/honky tonk in Texas.
My Ex-RADAR's...
A RCA AVQ-47 and AVQ-56, sold to MIT RADAR engineer:
Gregory L. Charvat (http://glcharvat.com/tincan/)
and http://glcharvat.com/Dr._Gregory_L._Charvat_Projects/About.html
Greg also has a new-ish (2014) book out: Small and Short-Range Radar Systems.
(Worth every cent...)
* They are "Sector" RADAR's, Think of them in the nose of a small twin-engine aircraft.
* Simple Pulse Type, Max range on the -47 is 80 miles, the -56 is 120 miles max.
* Both are X-Band approx. 9375 Mhz, and use WR-90 waveguide, 24VDC (2x deep cycle batteries).
* Used the AVQ-47 for storm chasing years ago - this RADAR was obsoleted by the smart phone.
Have a mount in the back of my truck to stab pole into - you don't drive around with this RADAR mounted.
* Shown as proof of ownership - most do not believe me when saying "I had 2 RADAR's."

One amazing lens, c-mount, macro is prob. 20x. Just incredible "no-name" off ebay.
***This package gives me "low-yield" SMD production capabilities.***
